How would I market my thriller?

I would use a variety of techniques in order to ensure that my short opening is well known about previous to distribution. The main method of publishing my thriller would be across my different social media platforms for example instagram, and also facebook. By doing this, my thriller opening would become known through word of mouth and posted by a variety of different people. This is a quick and simple method of making a film opening/trailer known to its target audience; this is called viral marketting. 
I would also create posters and variety of leaflets that could be put up within public places where my target audience will usually be found, such as a schools, local corner shops etc. This method allows the thriller to quickly become known about, therefore continuing to spread the word of mouth. If i had a large budget for my thriller opening, I would also advertise my thriller movie with social media adverts. This is the most popular method of distribution as it quickly reaches a large audience.
