MEETING: MINUTES

MEETING: MINUTES Action points - Organise more meetings based around shooting, to give all group a clear understanding of what we are doing. - Decide on the music that will be used within the short clip, as well as any added sound affects. Both of us will research pieces of music and the effects created by that music affects in order to have a clearer understanding of what exactly we want to use. Next Steps - Steps should be followed as shown on the shooting schedule. Filming will be Sacha and Maylita will be acting. Both will take on the role of director by directing different scenes.

QUESTION 1: PART 1

LIGHTING TECHNIQUE

Lighting within films is typically used to create an emotion from the audience, foreshadow what might come, and set the tone of whats happening. My partner and I decided in our meetings that we would use as minimal light as possible in the scenes because we wanted to create a realistic effect for the audience . Also by using minimal lighting, it does not give away too much of the surroundings and therefore doesn't spoil the plot for what would be the rest of the movie. We used mostly natural light, which made the scene look more realistic and also relatable for the audience. The only non-natural light that was used was a torch light, which served the purpose of illuminating the face of the protagonist in order to show her facial expressions. This lighting in this show is similar to the one in my thriller opening, in the sense that lighting is very minimal and only used to show the facial expression of the char...
