During this meeting, we discussed the smaller aspects of our thriller opening for e.g. special affects and costumes. We decided that Maylita should be wearing casual clothing (t shirt and jeans) which would allow the audience to understand that she was taken while going about her daily business, it also adds to the realism as this is an outfit typical of the age of our character.
We also discussed and practiced the makeup of Maylita, and it was decided that we will keep her makeup very minimal (everyday makeup) to add to the realism. We also decided that she should have some cuts across her face and bleeding from her head to suggest that it was a violent abduction and create enigmas for the audience as to what has happened and why.
