TREATMENT

The scene opens to a close up of a girl, around 16-21 years old, who looks worried and confused. It appears that she has been woken up to the sound of screams around her. A high angle long shot then reveals that the girl is bound to a chair by rope and gagged. This shot also reveals that she is in the middle of an abandoned, dingy looking warehouse. The screams get louder and the camera pans around the girl to show her panic as well as her confusion about her whereabouts. As the girl begins to panic a long camera shot focuses on a blood splattered picture of the girl with her friends/family. As she leans forward to take a closer look all sounds stop and it is silent. Choker shot is shown of the girl to express the emotion on her face to the audience. All that can be heard is the heavy breathing from the girl and slow heavy footsteps against the cold hard floor, although the feet from where the footsteps are coming from can't be seen. This is an example of Diegetic sound. Suddenly, all sound stops and all that can be heard is a door creaking open. A tracking shot follows the girl as she turns around to the door but when she looks it is open but no one is there. As soon as she turns back around an over the shoulder shot of a tall figure is seen but their back is to the audience. The girl screams and it cuts to black.
