The proairetic code refers the major structuring principle that builds interest of suspense of a viewer; it applies to any action that implies a further narrative action. An example would be a character drawing a gun, causing the effect of the audience wondering what will happen next.
The proairectic code does not directly raise
particular questions, but raises suspense by action. Similarly to the enigma
code, the audience will be asking themselves questions whilst watching the
film, however this code usually answers questions soon after the audience have
began to consider them. The proairetic code keeps the audience excited for the
next move, keeping their eyes pinned on the screen.
